It is a machine run by an 8-horsepower single cylinder diesel engine that extracts juice from sweet sorghum with a maximum capacity of 200 kg/day.

It effectively extracts juice from sorghum stalks.  Juice collected from this plant is used as ingredient for making syrup, molasses, or ethanol.

This machine not only effectively collects juice. It also easily makes bagasse, the fibrous matter, available in producing biofuel and in the making of pulp, paper products and building materials.

 It is a manually-operated machine that is used to extract oil from Moringa (malunggay) seeds, with a rate of 90ml of oil per 1 kg of seeds.

It is designed for effective extraction of oil from malunggay - for traditional medicinal and industrial uses.

The Expeller, used for the effective extraction of essential oil from Moringa, makes the oil available for products such as skin care and food.

It is an equipment designed for flattening and cutting pandan (a.k.a “bariw”) leaves in preparation for handicraft-making.

It is especially useful in improving the texture, unifying thickness and slitting the leaves into widths of 5, 10 or 15 mm.

Community livelihood centers and entrepreneurs will benefit from the use of this equipment.  The Presser-Slitter processes pandan leaves that are weaved into various durable products contributing to improved livelihood and increased income.
